57-year-old man arrested for def!ling his 6-year-old stepdaughter in Edo

The Edo State Police Command has arrested a 57-year-old man, Kadiri Edenokun for allegedly def!ling his six-year-old stepdaughter in Jattu, Auchi. The spokesperson for the command, ASP Eno Ikoedem, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. According to the PPRO, during interrogation, the suspect confessed to committing the offence multiple times. "The child is currently receiving medical treatment under the care of the Ministry of Women Affairs, Edo State, the statement read. "The suspect remains in Police custody and will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigation. "The Commissioner of Police, Edo State Command, CP Patrick Daaor, psc(+), mnips, warns that the Command will not tolerate acts of s3xual violence, particularly against children. He urges parents and members of the public to remain vigilant, stressing that anyone found culpable will be made to face the full weight of the law.  The post 57-year-old man arrested for def!ling his 6-year-old stepdaughter in Edo appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
