“Healthcare system in Nigeria is getting worse every day” — Man laments after federal hospital postpones his son’s treatment

A Nigerian man has expressed frustration with the countrys healthcare system after taking his son to the Federal Medical Centre in Abeokuta, Ogun State, for an ear-related check-up. In a video shared online, the man said he was surprised after being given an appointment to return on October 2, 2026, despite visiting the hospital on September 10. He showed the hospital card bearing the October 2 appointment date and questioned why his son could not be attended to sooner. Imagine you come to Federal Medical Centre here in Abeokuta to treat your child for whatever thing it is.
