“I’m a pastor’s daughter who became pregnant out of wedlock by a superstar. I was mocked” — Sophia Momodu opens up at UNGA

Internet personality Sophia Momodu has opened up about becoming pregnant out of wedlock by singer, Davido, saying the experience left her mocked and without a voice despite being famous. Speaking at Colombia University, ahead of the United Nations General Assembly High level-week. Sophia said being a pastors daughter who had a child outside marriage was particularly difficult because of the stigma attached to it in Nigeria. She said, I am a pastors daughter who got pregnant out of wedlock by a global superstar. And I was mocked. It was crazy. And I had to find my strength in the midst of all of that. And for the longest time, I didn't have a voice.
