‘It is criminal’ - Lagos deputy gov vows to remove car spotters from streets

The Lagos State government has vowed to intensify enforcement against car spotters harassing motorists and stopping luxury vehicles along the Lekki Epe Expressway, describing their actions as strictly criminal. Speaking in a broadcast on Nigeria Info FM, Hamzat said the state government will take a decisive action to clear the major transit corridor of unauthorized individuals targeting high-end cars and compromising public safety. That is criminal, and therefore, we will not allow it. So, we will take a lot of them off the street. A lot of people have been arrested, really.
