Businesswoman narrates encounter at hospital with heavily pregnant wife and husband who refused CS despite professional advice
A businesswoman has narrated her experience at a hospital she visited. She explained that she had been seeing stories of expectant parents refusing cesarean section but never witnessed it until now. Roberta Edu wrote:  'I have been seeing stories like this online, but I never thought I would witness one firsthand. 'I am currently at the hospital. This young lady is having her first pregnancy and is already past 40 weeks, yet there are no signs of labour or any serious contractions. 'She is now at 41 weeks, and from all indications, the gynaecologist has recommended an urgent surgery to save both mother and child. 'The husband refused, saying his wife is too young to undergo surgery and that the operation will "spoil" her. 'The lady was also asked to sign a consent form for herself, but she said her husband told her that she would become unattractive. According to her, he married a young, beautiful woman and cannot stand the thought of her being "soiled" under a doctor's knfe. 'My people, the reason I came to the hospital is what I am focusing on. I don't have the energy to counsel anyone. If she cannot listen to all the professional advice being given to her, then may the Lord be with her.' The post Businesswoman narrates encounter at hospital with heavily pregnant wife and husband who refused CS despite professional advice appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
