Cleric arrested for allegedly abducting 5 girls and impregnating 15-year-old in Edo

The Edo State Police Command has arrested a self-acclaimed prophets and overseer of Divine Grace Church, Nicholas Nusa, 50, over the alleged abduction of five female children in the state. Nusa, who operates the church along Imoga Road, Ibillo, in Akoko-Edo Local Government Area, was also accused of allegedly impregnating one of the girls, aged 15. The police said the pregnant girl is currently receiving medical care at a hospital after undergoing a Caesarean section and is in the care of the Brave Heart Organisation. The suspect was alleged to have abducted the children from Ibillo and Imoga communities in Akoko-Edo Local Government Area. The commands spokesperson, Eno Ikoedem, said Nusa had confessed to the alleged offences during investigation. She said the suspect was arrested following information received by the command. According to her, preliminary investigation revealed that Nusa allegedly abducted the five children at different times between September 2025 and April 2026 and took them to his residence. Ikoedem said efforts were ongoing to reunite the children with their respective families, while investigation into the case continues. The post Cleric arrested for allegedly abducting 5 girls and impregnating 15-year-old in Edo appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
