Dramatic video shows moment baby is rescued from earthquake rubble in Colombia (video)
Dramatic video shows the moment a 6-month-old baby was rescued from the rubble of an apartment building in the city of Cali after a 7.4-magnitude earthquake. The video shows rescuers pulling a baby and a man from the rubble on Tuesday, August 11, in western Colombia. Several people helped sift through the debris until the baby was located.  The earthquake occurred on Monday, August 10. By Tuesday, August 11, Colombia's new President Abelardo de la Espriella said the 7.4 magnitude earthquake had k!lled at least 181 people and left 2,595 more injured in the west of the country. He said at least 195 remained missing, but civilian-run databases put that number closer to 4,000. Teams continued to pick through the rubble overnight in the hardest-hit cities of Cali, Pereira, Manizales and Quibdo, as time ticked away for victims to be found and rescued alive. See video of the baby's rescue below.  Colombia : great action.
