Gunmen assassinate clan head in Taraba

Unknown gunmen have assassinated Zaki Sylvester Terfa Suleagbough, the Clan Head of Mbatyula community in Chanchanji Ward, Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State.  It was gathered that the attackers stormed the community in the early hours of Sunday, September 13, 2026 and opened fire sporadically.  According to the local sources, the gunmen allegedly targeted the residence of the traditional leader before shooting him.   The incident has reportedly caused tension and fear among residents, with community members said to be concerned about their safety following the attack.  The motive behind the k!lling remains unclear, while the identities and whereabouts of the attackers were not immediately known as of the time of filing this report.     The post Gunmen assassinate clan head in Taraba appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
