A Nigerian woman, Onovo Chika Sandra, has opened up about the alleged problems she endured during her marriage to a "mummy's boy husband.  According to Sandra, she suffered a great deal in the seven-year marriage because her husband did whatever his mother asked.   She said she left him to marry his mother, adding that he was the firstborn but behaved like a mumu.  I was once married, yes I married an Enugu man, this name (ONOVO) attached to my name is his surname,I have tried to change that name in my documents but bank is stressing me. I believe one day I will succeed, she wrote in a Facebook post on Friday, August 14, 2026. "He is from Enugu while I'm from Imo state, our marriage lasted for 7 years before I left him. "I left him cause he was a mummy's boy, he does anything his mother asked. I suff3red in that marriage that I didn't have a choice than to leave him to marry his mother. First born but behaving like mumu . Na because I still small then, nobody go follow me do that rubbish again now.  "That's why it's good to be mentally and emotionally matured before going into marriage.
