INEC officially declares Ademola Adeleke winner of the 2026 Osun State governorship election (Video)

 The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the incumbent Osun State Governor and Accord Party candidate, Ademola Adeleke, winner of the states governorship election. The returning officer, Prof. Joshua Olalekan Ogunwole, announced the result on Sunday morning, August 16, after collation was completed across the states 30 local government areas. Adeleke secured 511,067 votes to defeat his closest challenger, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 444,815 votes.
