Lookman takes Atletico Madrid’s no. 11 shirt

Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman will wear the No. 11 shirt for Atletico Madrid during the 2026/27 season.The Nigeria international joined the LaLiga club from Serie A side Atalanta in January and wore the No. 22 jersey during his first six months in Madrid. Lookman has now taken over the No. 11 shirt previously worn by Argentina midfielder Thiago Almada, who recently completed a move to River Plate.The 28-year-old is familiar with the number, having previously worn the No. 11 shirt during his time at Atalanta.
