Man be@ten to de@th weeks to his wedding in Lagos

A man identified simply as Basit, who had just returned to Nigeria from abroad for his wedding, was allegedly k!lled following a hit-and-run in the Lagos Island area of Lagos State last Wednesday, September 2. Eyewitnesses claim that the deceased had used his car to hit a male resident trying to cross the road in the Patey area of the community. Instead of stopping to help to the victim, he allegedly drove . The aggrieved residents of the area gave him a hot chase, and when they caught up with him, they allegedly be@t him up, inflicting serious injuries on his head.
