Mother of two sons reveals why she doesn’t want a daughter
A Nigerian woman has revealed why she would not want to have a daughter after birthing two sons. Debby Igbonanwa said that raising daughters takes a lot. She also added her concern about daughters being treated poorly when they marry. As a result, she said she would rather keep birthing boys, but added that she would try to change the narrative by treating her daughters-in-law well. She wrote: "I have two boys. If I should get pregnant again, I still want it to be a boy. I don't want female children. "When I make comments like this, people think I am funny or weird. But, that is just the truth. Raising female children takes a lot. And when it's time for them to get married, another phase begins. "See eh? make I just get boys abeg. Those of you that have girls, God will do it for you and grant your heart desires over your queens. "If someone like me have a female child, only God knows I won't tolerate any bad treatment from any man and his family.  Before you marry her, I must see your clean heart. I don't know how, but I must see it. "So, to avoid drama, let me kukuma have boys I can raise well to treat their wives as queens, while I treat them as my biological daughters. My husband is already an amazing father in-law in the making. "My daughter inlaws will be proud to have me. I will change the narratives in my own time." The post Mother of two sons reveals why she doesnt want a daughter appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
