NSC announces $5,000 per-goal incentive for Super Falcons
The National Sports Commission (NSC) has reportedly announced a $5,000 incentive for every goal scored by the Super Falcons during the group stage of the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON). According to Daily Post, NSC chairman Shehu Dikko made the announcement on Tuesday during his visit to the Super Falcons' base at the Marriott Hotel in Rabat, Morocco. The financial incentive is aimed at motivating the defending champions as they begin their campaign to retain the continental title. The Super Falcons are to receive $5,000 for each goal they score during the group stage of the competition. The incentive is also expected to increase as the team progresses into the knockout stages. The announcement comes as Justine Madugu's side prepares to begin its title defence against Malawi at the Al Madina Stadium in Rabat. It will be the first-ever meeting between both countries at the senior international level. The post NSC announces $5,000 per-goal incentive for Super Falcons appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
