Ogun State pastor and wife found d£ad after alleged domestic fight

A Celestial Church of Christ evangelist, Abidemi Odukoya, and his wife, Adenike, have reportedly died in separate circumstances following an alleged domestic fight at their residence in the Akinode/Ibogun community of Ogun State. The incident reportedly happened in the early hours of Monday, August 25, after the couple allegedly got into a physical confrontation. According to residents, Adenike was found unconscious and seriously injured in the house, while her husband was reportedly nowhere to be found. A former Chairman of the Community Development Association, Adejimi Olawumi, said residents heard cries for help and rushed to the couples home, where they found Adenike lying in a pool of blood. The community members reportedly began searching for Odukoya after discovering that he was missing. Olawumi said they later received information that the cleric had been hit by a vehicle in Ifo, Ogun State. Police reportedly took him to a hospital, where he was identified. The pastors younger sister also claimed that the couple had a history of disagreements and had previously sought help from family members after an altercation. She said the couple visited her in April following a fight and that the matter was eventually settled at a police station. Adenike was reportedly buried on the day of the incident, while Odukoya was buried on Wednesday, September 2.  The post Ogun State pastor and wife found dad after alleged domestic fight appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
