Police arrest suspected female gunrunner in Delta

Operatives of the Special Anti-K!dnapping Unit, Delta State, have arrested a 28-year-old suspected female gunrunner, Happiness Clifford.  The suspect was arrested in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of the state with 10 live cartridges concealed in a bucket. Confirming her arrest to newsmen, the command's spokesperson, Bright Edafe, saidDelta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed the report in a statement released.  Acting on credible intelligence, operatives of the Special Anti-Kidnapping Unit (SAKU), Ubulu-Uku, arrested one Happiness Clifford, female, aged 28 years, in connection with suspected gun-running activities in Agbor, Ika South LGA.A search of the suspected hideout led to the recovery of 10 live cartridges concealed in a bucket.During preliminary investigation, the suspect identified her husband, one Clifford Okoro, as a major supplier of the ammunition.Investigation is ongoing, while efforts have been intensified to apprehend him, Edafe saidThe post Police arrest suspected female gunrunner in Delta appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
