Troops arrest suspect linked to Southern Kaduna massacre
Troops of Sector 3, Operation Enduring Peace, have arrested a suspect in connection with the recent attack on Naridon Village in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State. Suspected terrorists attacked the farming community on the Kaduna-Plateau border on Sunday, July 26, 2026, k!lling 30 residents. Intelligence sources told security analyst Zagazola Makama that the suspect, Salihu Miakailu, 48, was arrested at about 8:00 p.m. on August 3, 2026 during an intelligence-led operation at his residence in Dutsen Kura Village, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State. According to the sources, the suspect is being investigated over his alleged involvement in the attack on Naridon Village on July 27. The suspect is currently in military custody and is undergoing detailed investigation to determine the extent of his alleged involvement and identify any accomplices. Security authorities said the arrest forms part of ongoing operations by Operation Enduring Peace  to track down individuals linked to violent attacks in Plateau and neighbouring Kaduna State, with efforts continuing to bring all those responsible to justice. The post Troops arrest suspect linked to Southern Kaduna massacre appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
